this week. Says Paul, "Hell is not a place. It is a state of mind that
I enter and leave at various times in my life. It is not a place of punishment;
it is the consequence of cause and effect. I find myself trapped in hell when
I refuse to give or receive love. But the moment I open my heart, I am released.
As I grow spiritually, I visit there less and less often."

Dad Can Beat Up Your Dad" is the name
of Paul's talk this week. Says Paul, "The masculine energy in me is strong
and direct. It is the part of me that gives me the strength to move forward
fearlessly and to stand up to challenges. It is the part of me that protects
and defends my heart and my mind. When combined with the nurturing feminine
energy in me, it keeps me in balance."

Our
guest speaker was Angela Harmon from Paul Gonyea's church the Spiritual Living
Center of Atlanta. Her talk is titled, "Living The 7 Habits."
Says Angela, "As a licensed SOM Staff Minister and certified facilitator
of the "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" written by Stephen
Covey. I will provide an overview to how achieve superior results by focusing
being more effective. To take initiative, balance key priorities, improve communication,
strengthen relationships, leverage creative collaboration, and apply timeless
principles for achieving a balanced life."
Ms. Harmon provided a Question and Answer session on the 7 Habits of Highly
Effective People after the service which over 20 people attended.

Says Paul, "Whenever
change occurs in my life, something is always lost when something is gained. To
prosper, my old beliefs about money must be removed. To heal, my belief in illness
needs to be cast aside. To receive love, my feeling of being unloved must disappear.
In dissolving the old, I create a space for the new."

humanity is a gift. It is a gift given by Life to allow my spirit to play in the
physical world. My body is not separate from my spiritual being; it is simply
my spirit in form. Every physical challenge I face, whether it's aging, illness,
or being out of shape, is an opportunity to learn a spiritual lesson that heals
both my body and my soul."

though I have an amazing mind, with the ability to remember many things, there
are some things best forgotten. Where I made mistakes, I can always remember the
lesson without dwelling on the pain. I choose to remember the good and to forgive
the bad. I release the memories that drag me down, and maintain those that lift
me up."

an adult, I set aside childish things. But I do not need to lose my childlike
joy and innocence. I learn from the children how to laugh, how to play, how to

whenever I want it. When I need a jolt of inspiration, the Spirit in me is always
ready to help."

the life I want to live, consciously or unconsciously, God responds to my choice
and makes it so."

You Like Your Future To Be Different?"
Says John, "The decisions we made about reality creates the future we have
been having. Most of these decisions are unconscious. Awareness of these decisions
leads to a different way for reality to occur to us. The way reality occurs affects
performance & performance determines the future we are having. How does reality
occur to you now? What would it take for reality to occur differently?"

name of Paul's talk. Says Paul, "The resurrection is not an event that happened
to one person thousands of years ago. It is a revelation that death is an illusion
and that our rebirth is always assured. In the Easter story, every person in the
story represents a part of me. We are all raised up when we recognize the greater
Truth of our being."

Paul's talk. Says Paul, "Prayer is not a memorized speech or a desperate
plea to God. True prayer is a complete awareness of the Truth about God, about
me, and about the world. As I remember the spiritual truth of any situation, the
physical appearance of my world is transformed. As my consciousness changes for
the better, so does my experience."

Paul, "When the world around me is exploding with Life, I am reminded of
the eternal presence of Spirit. There is no death; there is only Life being expressed
in endless cycles of rebirth. It is true for the plants and trees, and the same
is true for me. Nothing can keep me from growing."

talk. Says Nick, "Spirit is all there is. Everywhere I am, every person I
encounter, everything I see, touch, hear, taste & smell is Spirit. If I perceive
something as being separate, I am inevitably drawn to defend that perception.
When I align myself with the Oneness of Life, there is nothing to defend and I
create a consciousness that benefits me and everyone else."

or feel. Instead, I am grateful for the gift that my heart expresses through my
body."

myself that they are their own person. They are responsible for their own choices,
as I am for mine. They are responsible for their own happiness, as I am for

job is to love them unconditionally, and to see them as the loving spirit they
are."

when it feels like I am lost in the darkness. Whenever this is the case, I remind
myself that the Light of God is always shining. It shines in me and around me.
The darkness is a temporary state, and it has no power. Sometimes it seems dark
because my eyes are closed, and I remember to open them so that I can see the
Truth."

or in pain, I keep my mind in a peaceful state, knowing this will bring a peaceful
resolution to whatever situation I am dealing with."

gone by. I am through struggling with people who are no longer in my life. I am

has won."

I use it intelligently."

of God in the world, I rejoice in the Life I have been given. I no longer limit
myself by refusing to recognize my own divinity. Potluck followed.

Says Paul, "I know that God is the perfection of Life, always expressing

health, wholeness, abundance and creativity, and it is always present everywhere."

is the name of Paul's talk. Says Paul, "Life is meant to be enjoyed. There
is nothing wrong with experiencing pleasure, no matter how I do it, as long as
I harm no one, including myself. This includes physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual pleasure. In fact, the more I am enjoying myself, the closer to Spirit
I am."
